The paid entry point

Diagnose the business before prescribing the fix.

Most advisory relationships start with a proposal. This one starts with evidence.

OWNER system by BraunTrack Advisory Group

The OWNER Business Diagnostic examines financial performance, workflows, leadership structure, accountability and owner dependence together. In an owner-led company, these are rarely separate problems.

A margin problem may be a scheduling problem. A staffing problem may be a role-definition problem. Looking at one in isolation can produce a confident answer to the wrong question.

What it produces

A measured baseline and a usable sequence.

Business Baseline Scorecard
Where the company stands across the operating areas assessed, with evidence behind each score.
Owner Dependence Index
How much of the business currently runs through the owner, measured across decisions, relationships and operating knowledge.
Constraint map
The two or three conditions actually limiting performance, separated from surface symptoms.
Ninety-day priorities
A list short enough to survive a busy month, with one named owner and one measure for each item.
Twelve-month roadmap
What follows the first ninety days, sequenced so the near-term work is not undone by what comes next.

Investment

Fixed scope. Defined deliverables.

OWNER Business Diagnostic engagements begin at $3,500. Expanded diagnostics for more complex companies are typically $7,500.

Complexity—not revenue alone—determines scope. Multiple owners, locations, management layers or unresolved ownership issues usually require a wider assessment.

You keep the work. The scorecard, constraint map, priorities and roadmap remain yours whether or not BraunTrack supports implementation.

How it runs

From complexity to a clear sequence.

  1. Scoping conversation

Twenty to thirty minutes to establish what is happening, whether the Diagnostic fits and which version is appropriate.

  2. Information request

A specific list of financial, operating and organizational information, with the reason each item is needed.

  3. Owner and team interviews

Conversations with the people who know how the work actually runs—whether that is a small core team or several layers of management.

  4. Analysis and scoring

Financial, operational and leadership evidence assembled into one baseline rather than three separate opinions.

  5. Findings session

A direct discussion of constraints, risks, priorities and what should happen first.

  6. Documents handed over

Scorecard, dependence index, constraint map, ninety-day priorities and twelve-month roadmap.

What happens afterwards?

Nothing automatically. Some owners implement the roadmap themselves. Others continue through private advisory, the Owner Advisory Board or focused implementation.
